Gretsch have given the popular Catalina Maple drum kit a lovely new face lift.
The Gretsch Catalina Maple shell pack has been re-developed with stylish sleek shell hardware including a low mass bass drum tom mounting bracket with the stunning old school Gretsch logo and the attention to detail on the drop G logo on the little memory lock for the Tom post to sit in is just awesome.
The shells are made out of 7-ply 100% maple and produce bright resonant tones that sound wonderful live when mic'ed or un-mic'ed.
It has 2 Point Suspension and an all new low-mass, low-profile mini tom suspension fitted with 9010 L-rod bracket. Catalina Maple shells are fitted with Gretsch by Remo single-ply coated drum heads. Bass drums are fitted with the new round badge bass drum bracket and G-branded memory lock. Based on the original 9020, the new mini L- rod brackets offer the same durability with T-wingnut upgrade. The brand new Catalina tom holders include top adjust T-wingnut and 7/8" cymbal arm holder.
